Services Provided

Outpatient Services

Individualized mental health and substance use treatment for adults, children, and families who need support while maintaining their daily routines at home, work, or school. These services address a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges through counseling, skill-building, and evidence-based interventions. The goal is to alleviate distressing symptoms, encourage positive personality and behavioral changes, and reduce the likelihood of future crises or relapses. Clients develop coping strategies that strengthen emotional regulation, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities, and enhance overall well-being, improve daily functioning, and foster healthier relationships within family and community settings.

Psychosexual Evaluations (PSE)

A comprehensive clinical assessment that explores a client’s sexual history, behavioral patterns, and psychosocial background to understand the factors influencing sexual behavior. It examines sexual interests, attitudes, and functioning while identifying potential risk factors for inappropriate or harmful conduct. The evaluation also assesses the likelihood of future sexual reoffending and the individual’s capacity for treatment and behavioral change. This process involves structured interviews, standardized testing, and a review of relevant records to ensure accuracy and objectivity. Psychosexual evaluations are conducted by state-licensed mental health professionals trained in forensic assessment and sexual behavior risk analysis.

Virginia Alcohol Safety Action Program (VASAP)

A mandatory program for individuals convicted of a first or second DUI offense in Virginia. Its primary purpose is to enhance public safety by reducing alcohol- and drug-related crashes, injuries, and fatalities across the state. VASAP provides education, counseling, and monitoring to help participants recognize the impact of substance use on their decision-making and driving behaviors. Through structured treatment and accountability, the program encourages long-term lifestyle changes and responsible choices. Ultimately, VASAP aims to support recovery, prevent repeat offenses, and promote safer communities throughout Virginia.

Substance Abuse Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program (SA-PHP)

Substance Abuse Partial Hospitalization Program (SA-PHP) provides a structured, clinically supervised treatment environment for adolescents who are ready to take meaningful steps toward recovery but need more support than traditional outpatient care can provide. It offers comprehensive, day-treatment services designed to stabilize individuals struggling with alcohol or drug use, mental health concerns, and co-occurring disorders. The program combines evidence-based therapy, daily structure, and individualized care — empowering participants to regain control of their lives while remaining connected to their families and communities.
